Lanzarote
Love from Lanzarote, Padre
We chose Lanzarote because it offered everything we wanted from the project in one place: the chance to surf, a genuine local surf culture and an extraordinary variety of landscapes and nature. It was also somewhere in Europe that one of Padre's founders had returned to throughout his life, giving us a personal connection to a place that had always felt familiar and welcoming.
Those washed, natural tones became a big influence on both the clothing we designed and the palette we chose for this collection.
A few metres apart
The colours of the island were the direct inspiration for the collection, from the ash greys and washed greens of the lava fields to the off whites of the sand.
We used heavier cotton that could hold its shape in the wind and silk that moved with it. Against the island, everything felt like it belonged there.

Old school hip hop played in the car everywhere we went. It gave the trip the perfect mix of rough energy, motivation and a bit of anger, while still being music you could sit back and appreciate for how good it really is.
The foulard, worn here against the wind, is one of ten pieces made for the season — a silk scarf crafted in Como and finished by hand in Italy.

Our Mission Is Simple
Padre exists to encourage a life built around experiences.
Keep moving — on your own or with the people closest to you — toward new cultures, new landscapes, new countries and communities. Chase the adrenaline of sport, of music, of making things, of the next unknown. Never stop putting yourself somewhere you have not been.
But no experience is worth becoming someone you are not. The one thing that should keep you steady is a clear set of principles. Stay authentic. Stay true to yourself. Never trade your morals, your identity or your beliefs for success, recognition or approval — nothing is worth more than remaining who you are.
That is the thread through all of it: the landscapes, the clothing, and the people we make it with. Padre was never only clothing. It is a way of moving through the world — built on experience, on authenticity, and on staying true to who you are.
